Use WPA, WPA2 or WEP encryption with the TP-Link USB adapter. I originally purchased this in hopes that it would be capable of packet injection, however, I found there to be two versions upon arrival. The first version (1.0) does support packet injection while version 2 does not. After doing some research I've found that version 1.0 is nearly impossible to come by anymore which is rather disappointing. However, despite not being what I originally intended it to be, the TL-WN722N gets the job done.
